Half/Full Day Media Training

Build capacity in your team, organisation, or Board for handling media interviews and delivering key messages with confidence. Modules include:
 

  • What to do when a journalist contacts you

  • What makes a story newsworthy and what the media needs from you

  • Developing key messages with impact for scenarios. including disasters and incidents

  • Interview techniques, including tips for staying calm and on-message

  • Understanding and handling media tactics

  • Presentation tips – how to warm up and project your voice, the importance of body language, how to hold yourself in front of a camera, what to do with your hands, and how to connect with your audience.

The full-day option also includes one-on-one mock interviews for key spokespeople to hone their skills on-camera.

Individual Media & Presentation Coaching

Whether you are new to a senior role, need to prepare for an upcoming interview or presentation, or facing a crisis, these sessions can support you to deliver your message with confidence and clarity. Options include:

  • 2-hour media training refresher

  • 2 presentation skills workshop (also available for groups)

  • Half day media training (can be delivered as 2 x 2 hour sessions.
